Until the age of 56, my weekly ritual was sharing coffee, puzzles and conversation with my grandmother. It was a calm touchstone amid life’s busyness - she was 101 when we last met. My grandmother provided me with invaluable wisdom and by sharing her intuitive, balanced approach to life it shaped my thinking. Her unwavering values and common sense approach became an anchor. One which I wanted to ‘bottle’ and share with others.
In today’s world of convenience and short cuts, where baking means opening a box and adding water – we’ve lost the art of creating and solving from scratch. My grandmother taught me the value of personal recipes: sourcing our unique ingredients and infusing the process with emotion and intuition. This approach not only enriches the journey but deepens our understanding of cause and effect in achieving goals.
For three decades, I’ve navigated dynamics within a four generation family, balancing expatriate experiences with maintaining roots, love and folding in loss. Combined with career transition and personal discovery, I’ve been the “go-to” person for family, friends and now my clients.
Finding strength in uncertainty has become my specialty and holding space for others has become my purpose. A gift inherited – it is simply in my DNA.
